About Me

My photo
glory
My name is Glory and I hope you find my blog useful. My favourite saints are St Joseph and St Martin de Porres St Ann and St Jude but I love reading about all the saints! The book I read some time ago is "The Power of Silence against the Dictatorship of Noise" it is written by Robert Cardinal Sarah and it is brilliant! I think it is the most thought provoking book I have ever read. We live in a world of noise but we cannot grow in holiness without silence. Read this book if you get a chance. The book I have just starting reading recently is "The Four Loves" by C.S. Lewis, He is indeed a brilliant writer, this book is about four different types of love: Affection, Friendship, Eros and Charity the first three come naturally, but without Charity, all love can become distorted, bitter and even dangerous. This is a book well worth reading!
